I am quite interested in how people become depressed. I obviously don't think it is a good thing. I have been talking to a guy, Piet Oosthuizen. Hope it's okay to reference him.
My possible discoveries so far:
1. It may be caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain.
2. Some of the chemicals are dopamine and serotonin, forgive my spelling if it is wrong
3. The sun plays a role with your brain's chemicals
4. The sunlight that goes through your eyes produces serotonin, it is possibly one of the chemicals that is linked with anxiety and maybe even stress. I think these two feelings can cause depression. Depression might then lead to OCD.
5. Enough sunlight and air is good for you to help your bloodflow.
6. Reading from a pc may reduce the level of relaxation than with a book, possibly determined by the brightness from the screen.
7. The sunlight and exercise might help your brain with sleeping hours and how well you sleep.
8. The fresh air and sun is good for you when not in excess, I heard someone standing close to me say about half an hour a day is already good.
